Providing our Main Conce
rt series and Café Concerts, as well our music education programme is expensive.
Ticket sales from even our most successful concerts will not cover our outlay on the performance, and delivering an education programme that fosters an understanding and love of music in over 8000 primary school children, is costly.
By supporting Southern Sinfonia you will help our reputation continue to grow as the premier chamber orchestra in the South of England and realise our goal of ensuring all children in our region are given the opportunity to absorb the true benefits of music.
How you can help
One of the most popular ways for businesses to support the orchestra is through our Sponsored Seats scheme. This provides the opportunity to sponsor specific ‘seats’ in the orchestra, ranging from a back-desk violin, to a principal woodwind, to our leader Alexander Hohenthal.
Sponsorship begins at as little as £450 per season and allows us to:
- Continue to bring together the best orchestral players, soloists, artists and conductors
- Enhance lives through our pioneering education programme and range of competitions
- Ensure accessibility and wider involvement through our policy of affordable ticketing
- Connect with new audiences through innovative programming, encompassing a broad range of musical genres and disciplines
- Engage with the older members of our community through inventive outreach packages
- Work in partnership with recognised composers and visual artists to produce new works with lasting reach and influence
Relationships with Southern Sinfonia can be tailored to your business and can help you achieve your strategic objectives in a number of ways, to include:
- Connecting with current and potential clients innovatively and imaginatively
- Accomplishing corporate responsibility aims
- Rewarding staff, thus aiding both recruitment and retention in the long term
